[NEWS] Lay Wins Best Supporting Actor @ 2016 China Britain Film Festival Award Ceremony

EXO’s Lay is off to a good start in his acting career; he recently won Best Supporting Actor at the 2016 China Britain Film Festival, held in London on June 26, for the film “Ex-Files 2.”

This is Lay’s first acting award after officially starting acting last year with the foundation of his personal workshop in China.

Lay made quite the impression with his work in “Ex-Files 2,” which was a box office hit in China. The film brought in 100 million yuan (approximately $15 million) after three days, and double that amount after 10 days.

Director Tian Yusheng accepted the award on behalf of Lay, who was unable to attend the ceremony due to promotions with EXO. The director said, “Lay’s acting is very natural, and he’s a natural at comedy,” and spoke highly of Lay’s humility.
